Downton.Abbey.Suspense.

I recently, or FINALLY for a better word, got into Downton Abbey after everyone was talking about how great the show is, and now I am HOOKED! I spent a few long evenings and a couple of weekends having Downton Abbey marathons watching episode after episode. Of course season 1 was only available on Netflix and season 2 was on Hulu, making it slightly difficult to catch up but luckily my mom had free trials with each and so generously gave me her login info. So, my crisis of "how do I watch this show?!" was averted!

I was so relieved when Matthew and Lady Mary finally realized their love for each other and got married. It had been such a rocky road getting them together and I just always knew it was meant to be.

 Now that I am finally caught up with all three seasons and have to wait for season 4, I am wishing I had just one more episode to watch. Season 3's dramatic finale with Matthew dying in a car crash after welcoming his first born baby into the world left me with so much curiosity and I must find out what happens next!! 

Oh, how I wish I had another season to watch...

I wish I could spend a day in an enchanted setting like this doing nothing but getting lost in a book. I wouldn't want this to be my room all the time, but for a little while, it would be comfortable escape.

If you don't know me personally, you probably aren't aware that I am an American Idol voter. And when I say voter, I don't mean that lightly.

I mean, I log on to the voting site through my Facebook account and I vote for my favorite singer 50 times. Yes, you read that correctly: F-I-F-T-Y times! It would probably be more, but, there is a limit to the number of times one person may vote.

So who is it who has been getting all my votes this season? Phillip Phillips! I just LOVE his voice and his charm is working wonders for him as well.

 Let's hope my 50 votes keep sending him on his way to superstardom!

Restless.Warrior.

Well, this is the exact pose I was doing three-weeks ago when I injured my knee and let me tell you, I can't wait for the day when I can do Warrior 1 again!

I haven't worked out since my injury and my body is going crazy. I feel so tight and wish I could just wake up tomorrow completely healed so I could get back to my workout routine!!!

Life sure has a funny way of slowing us down that's for sure...

I wish it was March 25th already... I'm anxiously awaiting the season premiere of Mad Men and am getting VERY antsy! Can't wait to see what scandals this season has in store for us.

It amazes me how crafty some people can be. How cute is this once cheese grater, now adorable accessories organizer? I wish I could think of things like this.

Tropical.Dreaming.

Today I am wishing I could be whisked away to the beautiful sands of Maui. I can feel the warm, humid air on my skin and the smell of Plumeria delighting my senses. I want to frolick about in the bluest blue water and dig my toes deep into the warm sand. The thought of eating macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup at the Gazebo in Napili makes my mouth water and I can taste the sweetest pineapple on my lips.


Maybe if I close my eyes, I will be there when I wake up...

Pink.Perfection.

What a GREAT coat! I wish this little piece of pink perfection would hang itself right up in my closet. Or better yet...on me!

Make.A.Wish.

In 2011, I personally wished for a lot of things. Many of which came true; others not so much. That's OK. Wishing is something I'll never stop doing...

As I prepare to enter 2012, I am wishing for a couple things in particular. Normally I would tell you what they are, but hey, don't they say if you tell your wish, it won't come true?!

I wish these sassy little things would walk themselves right into my closet!

Pumpkin.Incense.Burner.

As I've mentioned over and over again, Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the scents, the crisp air, the colors, the feel of cozy clothes and throw blankets and the comforting feeling the season seems to bring.

While browsing MarthaStewart.com I came across this really neat, and really easy, do it yourself pumpkin incense burner. Hello yummy smell of pumpkin, cinnamon and FALL!

Here's how to make it:



Cut off the pumpkin's top and scrape out the innards; carve round vents with an apple corer. Rub cinnamon or pumpkin-pie spices onto the lid, or push cloves into it. With a lighted tealight candle inside, the pumpkin will give off a lovely fragrance for about six hours.
