I hate to be hot. I hate sweating profusely. I feel like I can't breathe when I am in a very hot and sweaty environment.
But I am dying to try Bikram Yoga.
I wish I could convince myself that I will be OK in the heated studio. That I will breathe just fine and I'll relax while settling deep into the poses.
I need to tell myself that it's not a big deal and that stretching in intense heat and humidity will not only make my hair frizz, but will benefit me in more ways than one. This is something I need to say to myself over and over again until I believe it with my whole heart.
I really do want to make Bikram Yoga a part of my fitness journey. I will.
